Polar Plunge 2012

It's finally 2012!!! Here is how our Polar Plunge January 1 at 9:00am went.

Here we are when we arrived:













And then us right before the jump. AS you can see, it's foggy and cold.













And here is the end result. You can see we actually did it because we're wet. You may be wondering what it was like. WEll, each stroke feels like icy death, but once you pull yourself out of the pool the weather no longer feels cold. YOu can't feel your feet or anything really but you're no longer cold. The shower afterwards is the best feeling there is. Do I have any regrets...no. WAs it worth it...Duh! You're only cold for a little bit plus you get a nifty sweater! IF I didn't do it I would regret it later. Can't wait to do it again next year!!!!!
