Toshiue no Hito.

So I decided to read this one-shot. REally simple cute little thing. Where I was reading it, the pages were really blurry, so I decided to try to look it up on another site to read. When I searched for it, I found a completely different manga, one that I did not want to read. For one it was mature and was only suggested for audiences 18+. Not exactly my kind of reading. -__-' I went back and forth between the two sites trying to figure out the difference. Eventually I saw that they story I was reading had a little period at the end after Hito. That one difference made the difference between sweet shoujo romance and mature ecchi romance. The story I read was pretty cute. Wish it was more than a one shot, but then again, it was pretty cute like this. ^^

MESA Day 2012

Today was MESA Day!!! It was a pretty good day. I participated in the calculus test and Balsawood Bridge Competition. The calc test was hard. The bridge comp. (Civil Structures) is where you build a bridge out of balsa wood sticks. It sounds easy but there are soooo many technical rules. Angles have to be 30<= degrees, can't be more than 95grams, must have a span of at least 25cm, total length must be =<40, height must be =<21cm and it must clear 10<= Jonathan really wanted to push this bridge to the limits. WE had a couple of angles at the top that were exactly 30degrees and then our clearance was exactly 10cm. If we got DQ'd, I would have killed him, or at the very least made him buy me a burger. Our bridge ended up being legal; however, we didn't win anything :(

Even though we didn't win anything, I still had a great time. I saw my little cousin Makayla (I hope that's how you spell her name). She was in the middle school Popsicle bridge competition. Her bridge ended up getting DQ'd though. She explained why but I didn't really understand.
Later,I met up with some old Commodorks and we had a great time together. Saw Maicy and Vanisha (both of them now go to SECA).













Then I also saw Andy, Jennifer, Jamie and Carey.













Carey won a medal for something and then Andy won a medal in Civil Structures. Darn you Andy! Overall, it was a really good day. ^^

Font Unicorn!?

So I was trying to find Times New Roman as the font for my gov. responses. When I tried typing it in, it wouldn't work. It kept taking me to TimeScrDLig. It simply would not allow me to get Times New Roman. However, since I had to scroll the manual way, I did discover that I own some interesting fonts. Fonts such as Bazooka, BoogieWoogie, chick, chiller, desertdoghunk, unicorn, etc.....

Honestly, kind of grateful my computer had a moment of stupidity and wouldn't let me find Times New Roman. These new ones sound soooo much better ^^

Got a New Router!!!!

So yesterday, my dad went to RadioShack to find out about something that would give us Netflix or something. What we found out is that in order to advance anything, we would need a router, so we got the cheapest one and got a one year warranty. Now I get internet in my room!!!! That Once upon a time post was actually the first one that came from my room but still, this is soooo cool!!! Never thought i would be able to do this from my room. Yea, the computer's a little slower but it's still waaaay faster than our old one ^^

Gave myself a little heart attack though. I accidentally pressed something so the wi-fi got shut off and then I couldn't find out connection anymore! I searched and searched but couldn't find it. A few seconds ago though, I clicked on the internet and Diagnosed the connection problem and it magically found it somehow. It was weird, it was like in the middle of trying to find it and then something at the bottom of my computer pops up saying that my signal connection is strong WHILE the internet is still trying to find the signal. It's weird. I'm just happy that now it's fixed. :D

Once Upon A Time

OMG OMG OMG!!!!!

Last night's episode was soooo awesome!!!! Mr. Gold was locked up and there was the whole Beauty and the Beast thing going on. It's just Ahhhhhh!!!

I feel soooo bad for Rumplestiltskin.(Hope I spelled that right^^) He thinks Belle is dead but he's not. Then that whole part where he's behind the bar and she keeps asking him who he is, that part was pure genius. Love him love him love him!!!

Something that doesn't make sense though, how could she not know who he is???? It's sooo obvious who he is so why didn't the queen know. She looked so surprised when he told her and yet she knew exactly what the guy should steal from him. HOW DOES THAT WORK!!!???

It reminds me of Chip from Beauty and the Beast. He's the only reason the curse doesn't make sense! If they were supposed all like that for 10 years, how does chip exist!? He looks about 5 tops. Then there's the theory that perhaps they were frozen at that age but then it wouldn't make sense for the beast. He had until his 21st birthday to find true love. If he was indeed frozen with his looks and it's been 10 years, then that is how he must have looked when he was 10? I don't think so! Chip, you are the only reason this curse fails!!!! THis is why I hate fairytales but then this is also why I love them ^^

AAA

I just finished reading AAA. NOt a long thing. Only about 15 chapters. Pretty cute. NOt the best but it was still nice. NOt really memorable though. I just finished and I don't seem to remember any of their names. Kinda sad but whatever. WAs just too short plus it was about eighth graders. Kind of younger than usual so it was kinda like whatever. Also since it was 15 chapters, the conflict was short and resolved quickly. Pretty cute though. ^^

Hana Yori Dango Complete!

Well, after being with this for 242 chapters, I am finally done. I really loved this manga, it was so sweet. I just don't like how it ended. It just seems so incomplete. I think there must be chapters missing because the last two chapters are just so inconsistant. If there was a chapter in between the last and second to last, I would be more pleased. I tried looking up the plot on Wiki but unfortunately it's one of those with not a lot of info. I did find out that there is an anime but it says that it deviates really far from the manga so sayang. Overall, the manga was great. ^^

CIP finally done!!!

Wow, after months of worrying about CIP, I finally have it finished. Well almost finished. My part is done. All that's left is the letter of recomendation. That'll be easy though. I already asked the teacher and it's all done online so she said she'd do it for both me and Aaron. I am soooo happy that essay is out of the way.

Now all I have to do is
4essays, a reflection, read a play, read a chapter of another book, answer 10 questions for gov, do chem and then all of my homework will be complete. Huh, 4 ap classes can be a read downer sometimes. -____-

Hana Yori Dango!!!

Yea, so you know how I just finished reading Kare Kano on Saturday. I'm on chapter 99 of this new manga called Hana Yori Dango. Now, these chapters are a little shorter than Kare Kano but still they're like 25 pages each. That's still a lot of reading to already be on chapter 99. This is getting to be an addiction. I love this whole Tsukishi Tsukasa drama. I just wish names in manga weren't all so similar. REally hard to tell who's who when you first start out. After 99 chapters though, I have everyone straightened out. Amazing how that works.

I still need to finish my homework. I need to read "Fern Hill"~Dylan Thomas and "Ulysses"~Alfred, Lord Tennyson
I've read Fern Hill and it sounds pretty nice. Haven't come close to starting on Ulysses. I wish I had time to start this yesterday :'(
