Oh Haruhi!!! ^^
She's sooooo cute. Haruhi is soooo cute on this page. I also learned a new word, again. Palpitations. Why is it that they use such high English-level words in these manga's???? Weird. Is this really the only word the Japanese word translates to??? Oh well, my Eng. teacher told us to read for fun and I am plus I'm learning new words. Bonus :D
GARISH
I just learned that word and I feel it describes my way of dress perfectly. just had to throw it out there. Have a feeling I'll be using this word a lot just because I can. ^^
Lovey Dovey
Ahhhhhhhhhhh!! Why oh why is this happening. I've been waiting WEEKS for the new T-ara MV to be released. Now that the day is finally here, I've found out that the date's been pushed back to Jan. 2. This is killing me. It's like torture!!!!
On a lighter note, I found out that the MV is gonna be 22 minutes long so I guess it sorta makes up for it. That's about 10 more minutes than I was expecting. Oh well, guess I'll just have to be patient. -_-'

Presentations
You know that feeling when you're soo stressed out about something that you just don't care anymore. That's how I'm feeling right now.
We had to read The Children's Hour by Lillian Hellman. We had like a month to read it. It's only 75 pages so that wasn't bad. I had it read in like three days. Then I put it off for a month and went back and took notes.
Now that the reading's all done, a couple weeks ago, we got instructions for the power point we have to do. The presentation has to be completely planned as in no note cards. Now my group isn't exactly....finished yet. I love my group members to death but we can be really.....not productive at all.
We gathered at Sarah's house before. That resulted in us determining the appearance of the power point, watching a preview of The Children's Hour (the one with Audrey Hepburn),.... watching flashmobs, flashmobs at graduations, discussing how epic it would be to be in a flashmob, discussing that we should do a flashmob at our graduation this year, Sound of Music dubstep(Do Re Mi), how to dance at a rave, how to Dougie, and how to polka. The vast majority of our time being spent on the list after the ellipses. AS you can see, we are an extremely productive group. For the dances we (and by we I mean me and Sarah) attempted to dance to them while Aaron watched. I think we were amazing. At the very least it was really fun(ny).
All kidding aside, we're not that bad with the whole distraction thing.
The big problem is: WE NEED TIME TO PRACTICE!
We are just barely sending the last slide over to Sarah. WE wish we could just have a couple more days because Sarah is ALWAYS BUSY!!! Everyday this week when we wanted to get together, Sarah is suuuuper busy. It's not her fault because she's busy getting credits but still. Ahhhhh! Now we have to go to school suuuuper early tomorrow so that we can practice our presentation. All I want is for it to be 12 minutes. I'll be happy with that.
I just really hope we don't get picked to go tomorrow. We're randomly gonna go up so I hope our name isn't pulled. At the very least not first and not last and not after some group that was amazing.
Oh English class, why must you be so difficult. You give us a month to read the book and 2 weeks to do a powerpoint. Why couldn't the times have been switched?
I really don't care anymore, but as soon as lunch comes and it's the final seconds before sixth period English, I'm gonna die. DX

T-ara
Whoooo! T-ara is finally coming to Nor-Cal!!!! They're gonna be in San Fran in January 13. I really want to go but I don't think I can :( T-ara is like one of my fav. groups. I just finished watching Cry Cry and it was purely amazing. Kind of dark for them but it was still amazing. They left it on a cliffhanger though. I am just counting down the days until the next part comes out on Dec. 24. Don't know if I can wait that long. Sooooo excited. :D I wish I could go to the concert.

I would tell you who they all are but I don't know any of there names ^^' I know, I'm a terrible fan. There music rocks though!!!!
Last Night with the Family :)
Do you guys remember that one picture I posted when we took a family photo, well last night, we had sort of a family reunion. But it was the whole family that came. That picture you guys saw was only about half of the family. Yesterday, all of us were there in addition to my Nana's brothers family. We have a really small family so it's not that much but it was still a fun time. \(^^)/
Now, I'm the oldest of the kids. There are 10 of us. 2 girls and 8 boys. WE kind of split up into three groups. The 'older boys' (6 members ages 14-17), the 'younger boys' (2 members I think they're about 9 and 10), and the girls (ages 14 and 17)
Even though I'm the oldest, recently, I have become one of the shortest. Besides the younger boys and the other girl, I'm the shortest. No actually, the second oldest boy is shorter than me also but just barely. ;)
Dinner was amazing. 15 lbs. of potatoes, a 20lb turkey, plus other good stuff. Then we had apple pie, pumpkin pie, chocolate cake, and all the other candies you get around the holidays like fudge and peanut brittle. There were like 8 different chocolate things like that ALL homemade. All the adults plus the two girls ate together in the living room, the younger boys ate in a bedroom, and the older boys were banished to eat outside. Well, they weren't banished, it was more like, there's no more room in the house eat where you want, and they CHOSE to eat outside in the 30F weather. Brrrr.
I also found out that one of my aunts posted a few YouTube videos, really funny well at least for my family. Aunt Jen What's so great about this is that they were doing this and all the interviews they had for the "movie trailer" were just random people they saw coming out of a movie theatre. They basically just asked them to say stuff about the "movie" These people didn't watch it or anything but they were saying how much they loved it. Too funny. XD There was another video but I don't remember what it was called :( Now I want to do something like this with my friends. ^^
Anyway, yesterday was fun. I wish I had a picture of it, or at least of all us cousins together. I found out where I get my incredibly loud laugh at everything laugh from. There are three members of my family who have the same loud obnoxious laugh. XD
I knew I should have taken a piture!

Demashitaa! Powerpuff Girls Z
So, I found a new manga that I really like, and just like the title sounds it has to do with the powerpuff girls. It's some weird Japanese spinoff of the show. Really interesting actually.
There are 3 girls Momoko Akadzutsumi(Blossom), Miyako Goutokuji(Bubbles) and Kaoru Matsubara(Buttercup). Unlike the American show, these girls are in junior high and were not made in a lab. They are actually different girls who for some reason were chosen to become the Powerpuff Girls Z. I don't know why but I'm sure the next couple chapters will explain...hopefully. They also get calls from some guy named Ken (think he's professor Utonium's assistant) and he tells them when there are monsters. Then they use rings and they transform into the powerpuff girls Z. Kind of reminds me of a mix between Totally Spies and Captain Planet. Anyway, their personalities are kind of the same except Blossom is really irresponsible in this manga. They are supposed to have secret identites but she is constantly almost blurting it out. In the first two chapters the girls have already had to stop her from telling like 3 times. She's just an easygoing person who pretty much gets happy anytime there's food. Doesn't really think things through. Soooo different from the Blossom I'm used to, not that this new one is a bad thing ;)
Unfortunately it seems that there are only 12 chapters but that's OK.
I'd like to thank my Nunkie-kun for helping me discover this.
We were talking about shows from the 90s and I looked up to see what year Powerpuff Girls was made in to make sure it was from the 90s. It was but I saw that it had an anime so I looked and decided I'd check it out. So thank you Nunkie-kun for indirectly helping me find the Powerpuff Gifls Z ^^

VHS Still Rules!
So yesterday, I was filling out requests for fee waivers for college applications. I have to send these through the actual mail (can't e-mail it) so I was using envelopes. I used the last of them so I told my mum and she told me to look through the Walgreens ads for a coupon. While I was flipping through it, I came across a coupon for VHS tapes! 3 for $5.00 Can you believe that! The price isn't that hard to believe but the fact that they were still selling them, I find absolutely amazing!
The TV in my room is one I got when I was 6 so the only thing it has is a VHS player. I use this all the time to tape my shows since there is no DVR in my room. I just simply autotune the Direct TV and then set my TV to tape on the VHS at the same time. AS long as I don't change the channel, I'll tape my show. If I do change the channel, it will still tape, just not the show I originally wanted taped. Even though I can only tape one thing at a time, it's still great because unlike taping on a DVD, I can tape over and over. All I gotta do is hit rewind and then I can tape over it. Though I can tape over and over, the quality gets worse and worse each time you do it. Some spots on my tapes, there is no sound and there is always this loud buzzing when it plays. I don't notice the buzzing but everytime someone walks into my room they're like "What's that noise?"
Even though my TV is super old, I still love it. If it were to break, I don't know what I would do. I mean sure it would be nice to have a screen bigger than a piece of binder paper. (Ok you caught me, the screen is actually a little bigger than a piece of binder paper. Holding college ruled binder paper horizontally the width of the screen is about 1.5 inches bigger. The height is the same as the paper though)
Despite the smallish screen, if the TV were to break, I wouldn't be able to tape my shows. Sure I could watch them online, but we only have one computer with internet and unfortunately, others want to go on it too. Now you're probably thinking why can't I just DVR them on the outside TV. Oh I would if I could but my shows take up too much space. I tape about 10 hours a week of different shows I watch and I don't have enough time to watch them due to excessive ammount of homework I get. (I have like 30 VHS tapes that I use to tape.) Plus, if I were to DVR them, I would have to watch it on that TV which is 95%dominated by my dad.
Well, now you know that there are still some (or at least one) people who use VHS. Though it's not the best quality, it's still really convenient for me. Thanks for buying me the tapes mom!!!!
The picture is a tribute to everyone who still remembers the VHS player. ;P Those who do will find this hilarious. Those who don't won't understand the humor. They'll probably either be thinking "Dumb" or will just be really confused.

Please Have Mercy On My Soul!!

Hello all!!!
Despite the fact that I started out with exclamaion marks, I am actually in a very bad mood. I'm sooooooo tired but I still have so much work to do. I have successfully completed my AP Chem homework so that only leaves me with AP Calc, AP USGov, and reading two chapters from A Light in August.
My APgov teacher, well, this is his first year teaching the AP class. He basically walked onto campuss the first day of school and they were kind of like, "Hey! Welcome back. Guess what. You're teaching the AP government class. Good luck :)"
He's trying really hard but, ay. At first we were doing things that no one thought mattered. I found it a little helpful, kind of like a little refresher but pretty much things I already knew. Now though, it's as if he's trying to overcompensate. He's decided to give us two AP essays each Friday for homework. It's not too bad since the answers are online but still, I have a lot of other homework. Chem and calc requires my full attention so by the time I finally get around to gov, I'm brain dead.
I've also been trying to find good college scholarships. Really happy because one of the schools I applied to just sent me a letter of acceptance along with a $10,000 scholarship. Really happy but tuition alone is like $30,000 so I've been trying to find more. It's really hard though because a lot of the ones that I'm finding have deadlines that have already passed -_______- The ones I have found have deadlines in like the next couple weeks. A lot also require letters of rec. so I should probably get started on that. Oh, whoever said senior year was easy...LIAR!!!!
Now, you see that pic up there? I wish my weekend were like that. Instead I am the Sunday night box all weekend. That $10,000 scholarship makes it seem like it's worth it, but right now I just want one weekend free. Just a little break. It doesn't even have to be a break. Can you make it just so that all my homework can be completed CORRECTLY in one night. I'll even settle for 10 hours. Come on, 10 hours of homework seems reasonable, right? Just please!!!!! Enough of each class giving me 3-4 hours worth of homework. I know you think we don't have lives, which for the most part is pretty much true for me, but still, can't I just relax and let my brain go on the weekend with some mind-rotting goodness.!?
*sigh*
Future Job???

What the heck ever happened to parents telling you what to be when your grown up!?
I'm sooo confused. Today, a lot of parents just want their kids to be happy so they tell them to find something. Do you know how difficult that is. I know I'm not alone because many of my friends have this problem also. How should we know what we want to be when we grow up. We would appreciate a little guidance. Sure having the freedom to choose is nice but it makes our lives so difficult. This picture helps me remain calm though.
Oh why is this decision so hard :(
